Facts of 2011 Detroit Auto Show Kia KV7 Concept
The Kia KV7 concept will debut January 10 in Detroit.
In addition to rear gullwing doors, it has 360-degree swiveling rear seats.
Kia will build a production version — less the gullwing doors.
SEOUL, South Korea — Kia Motors has announced that it will introduce its KV7 concept at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show on January 10. The crossover/minivan concept is notable for a set of rear gullwing doors and 360-degree-swiveling rear seats.
The KV7 has a high roof and CUV-style appearance that Kia calls "convention challenging." The company says the concept previews a production KV7, which of course won't have the gullwing doors.
Inside Line says: More soulful concept work from Kia, this time in MPV form. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent
